Dan Crenshaw Uncovers Disturbing Truth Behind Dem Relief Bill

Republicans opposing Democrats’ $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package have been warning that it is largely packed with pork, non-essential items, and liberal goodies for their districts.

The bill is so bad that Texas GOP Rep. Dan Crenshaw posted a video to his Twitter account uncovering the disturbing flaw in the “Democrat math” behind the COVID bill.

Playing both parts in a two-man skit, Crenshaw posed as both a normal American and a stuck-up government official to illustrate how expensive the bill is.

“I’m the government,” Crenshaw said while wearing a suit and black sunglasses. “I’m here to save America, man. I need your help.”

“Sure, how?” says his other character, who is portraying a normal American while wearing a flannel shirt, jacket, and baseball cap.

“Are you finally going to get that small business money out that still hasn’t been spent? There’s, like, hundreds of billions of dollars, right?” he asks.

“We’re going to get to that,” the government man answers. “Right now, we’re going to need about, oh, five thousand, seven hundred and fifty dollars from you, give or take.”

The amount is based on some quick math.

“Come on, man!” Crenshaw’s government character says, mocking the classic line from Joe Biden. “It’s a small price to pay for what you’re going to get out of it.”

When the other character balks, claiming to have no money handy, the government character scoffs.

“Charge your kids, they have plenty of money,” he says. “Charge somebody else’s kids. C’mon man!”

In return, Crenshaw’s government character hands over a check for $1,400 — what’s left of the $2,000 checks Biden once vowed would be going out the door if he came into office with a Democratic Senate.

“You’re welcome,” Crenshaw says.

There is so much that stinks about the Democrat’s pandemic relief bill that you should wear a gas mask to read it.

But one of the things, that was referenced by Republican Sen. Tom Cotton, was the fact that mass murderers will be getting $1,400 stimulus checks, he said on Twitter.

“Dylann Roof murdered nine people. He’s on federal death row. He’ll be getting a $1,400 stimulus check as part of the Democrats’ ‘COVID relief’ bill,” he said.

“Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Boston Bomber, murdered three people and terrorized a city. He’ll be getting a $1,400 stimulus check as part of the Democrats’ ‘COVID relief’ bill,” he said.

But Sen. Cotton was not the only one to attack the bill, which is set to be signed by Joe Biden.

“Prisoners do not pay taxes. Taxpayers pay for their every need. Inmates cannot stimulate the economy,” Sen. Bill Cassidy said.

“But, under this bill they receive stimulus checks. This is a perfect example of nontargeted, inappropriate, and total waste of spending. It’s ridiculous that this is in the bill,” he said.

The Senate Republicans group also took to Twitter to eviscerate the bill.

“Democrats just rammed their ‘American Rescue Plan’ through the Senate without *any* bipartisan support,” it said.

And what could be even worse, the Senate Democrats voted against an Amendment from Texas Sen. Ted Cruz that would have prevented illegal aliens from getting $1,400 stimulus checks.

“Instead of working in a bipartisan manner to open our schools, bring back small businesses, and help struggling Americans get back on their feet, Democrats chose to pander to their radical liberal base with partisan handouts,” Sen. Cruz said.

“This bill is stuffed with pork, with only nine percent of the almost $2 trillion going toward actual and urgent COVID relief,” he continued, emphasizing that the Democrat measure “shockingly provides COVID relief checks to illegal aliens and criminals behind bars,” he said.

“I proposed two amendments to close these loopholes. Democrats voted in lockstep to ensure illegal aliens and prison inmates would still qualify for these rebates,” he said.

And where is the $1.9 trillion going?

“I voted against this bill today because it could further wreck the economy and ignite inflation. This legislation includes a host of non-COVID-related left-wing policies,” Sen. Richard Shelby said. He said that “nine percent of the funding in the bill goes toward the immediate fight against COVID and one percent toward vaccines.”

“Democrats are forcing a liberal wish list of pet projects through Congress that’s masked as a pandemic rescue package,” he said.
