On Sunday Nancy Pelosi flew in from her extended vacation and single-handedly destroyed a bipartisan coronavirus relief package that the American people desperately needed.
The $2 trillion package had been worked on by both Republican and Democratic senators for days, and would have provided important assistance to workers, businesses and industries hit hard by the pandemic.
But Pelosi and her dem cohorts decided pushing their own radical agendas was more important than the well-being of American citizens.
Frankly we all should have seen this coming.
Well now, some new information has been revealed from a call between House Democrats on Thursday that is extremely troubling.
The call contained a handful of shameful remarks, but the most disturbing may have come from House Majority Whip James Clyburn, third in line among House Democratic leadership.
He made a shocking admission and gave away the left's entire game plan with one single comment.
“This is a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision,” the South Carolina Democrat said to his fellow Dem lawmakers during the call.
And that's exactly what they're trying to do.
Let's be honest, exploiting crises for political gain is nothing new to the left. You may recall back in 2008 Rahm Emanuel saying, "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before."
What the dems are failing to get is that people are literally dying while they try to use this pandemic to their advantage.
As Ted Cruz pointed out, in just 1 day since Dems blocked the coronavirus bill there have been at least 102 more deaths in the U.S. and 6,484 new cases in the U.S.
How many more people will have to die before the left stops trying to use COVID-19 to advance their political agenda?
