In an interview with the New York Times, Ivanka Trump came out and told America that she is officially now a "proud Trump Republican."

In what has been a remarkable 180-degree political transformation from when she was a Democratic donor with progressive views on issues like climate change, parental leave, and pay equity, her status as a “card-carrying member of her father’s ‘Make America Great Again’ coalition is now complete,” writes Annie Karni and Maggie Haberman for the Times in an article published Monday.
While talking about her political transformation, Ivanka stated she wasn't going to speculate on what other people thought about her.
Ivanka just went public about changing her voter registration from Democrat to Republican. However she actually made the switch in late 2018 shortly before the midterms, but just kept it private.
And Ivanka wasn't the only one to recently switch parties. Her husband Jared Kushner also recently changed over to the Republican party.
