Pelosi Crafts $750 Billion Aid Bill for State & Local Govs; Republicans Not Invited to Discussion

Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi is drafting a $750 billion coronavirus relief package to help states that have been poorly run, mostly by Democrats. But Pelosi is refusing to let Republicans into the discussion.

Pelosi's aid package would use funds collected from all taxpaying Americans — not just Democrats.

Pelosi's decision to not invite Republicans into the discussion will prove to be a bad one, because the House Speaker won't be able to pass the bill with Republican approval.

The $750 billion would apparently be given to states and local governments whose economies cratered due to the one-size-fits-all nationwide lockdowns.

While Pelosi is working to dish out more money to bloated government bureaucracies, millions of struggling Americans are still lined up at foodbanks.

Here's more on Pelosi's aid package from the Daily Wire:

The aid package, which would be the fourth coronavirus aid package issued in just under three months — only weeks after the $2.2 trillion CARES Act — is focused on providing what Democrats believe are “much needed” funds to states and cities laboring under massive debt, according to the Wall Street Journal, but Republicans caution that federal legislators might be trying to bail out their suffering state colleagues, many of whom are trying to erase debt that long predates the coronavirus pandemic.
Republicans, led by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), say they will not consider yet another massive spending bill until they can be sure the now-shaky American economy won’t suffer more damage as a result.
But Pelosi does not appear to be taking Republican advice into consideration, and Republican lawmakers say they have yet to be consulted, let alone invited to collaborate, on Pelosi’s gargantuan bill.

It comes as no surprise that Pelosi is rushing to bail out state and local governments first, considering it's Democratic-run states like California and New York that have been struggling the most with the coronavirus.

While these states have indeed been hit hard, they were struggling far before the pandemic.

Studies prove that Democratic-run states have the worst economies.

Unfortunately for Pelosi, she will soon find out that she's just continuing to waste time and taxpayer dollars with her ridiculous charades.

Republicans have made it clear that they will not be supporting state bailouts considering most of the bailouts would be for blue states that have been mismanaged by Democratic leaders for years.
