Democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is at it again. This time the far-left congresswoman is demanding that black and brown people get coronavirus "reparations," claiming their communities are most affected by the pandemic.
AOC thinks our country's history of inequality has left minorities at a higher risk of suffering from the deadly virus.
Her comments came after seeing a New York City map that showed coronavirus cases were more prominent in poorer neighborhoods than in wealthier zip codes.
"COVID deaths are disproportionately spiking in Black + Brown communities,' Ocasio-Cortez tweeted on Friday.
She continued: "Why? Because the chronic toll of redlining, environmental racism, wealth gap, etc. ARE underlying health conditions. Inequality is a comorbidity. COVID relief should be drafted with a lens of reparations."
The problem is that AOC literally just made that up. Racial data on coronavirus deaths doesn't even exist yet.
AOC has been desperately trying to use the coronavirus pandemic to push her radical agenda on Americans.
Several days ago the freshman Democrat lashed out online because illegal immigrants weren't getting coronavirus checks. She claimed that Americans send their kids to school on the backs of those in the country illegally, and that it's only fair they get relief.
After her outrageous remarks, AOC received swift backlash.
It takes a special kind of person to be as ignorant as AOC. My hat's off to her.
