CDC Director Warns Outbreak Coming to US, Only Buying Time with Containment

Each day that goes by we seem to get more bad news about the deadly coronavirus. It is clearly no longer just a serious threat to those in China. This past week the COVID-19 virus has established a chilling presence on the global stage.

Yesterday a new report from the NY Post suggested that the coronavirus was actually made by a Chinese lab.

And now, a director at the CDC has come forward with a critical warning.

As COVID-19 brings China to its knees, fear surrounding the virus has permeated the globe. The communist regime has quarantined tens of millions, and neighboring countries have shut their borders.
According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Robert Redfield, this won’t be enough to stop an eventual outbreak in America.

In the United States, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases has reached 53. Now while this may seem like a small amount compared to the 79,000 global cases, the CDC Director believes it's only a matter of time until the virus finds a foothold and we start getting mass transmissions.

“This virus is probably with us beyond this year, and I think eventually the virus will find a foothold and we will get community-based transmission.”

Redford went on to say that you can think of the coronavirus like a seasonal flu, expect there's one big difference... "we don't understand this virus."

Terrifying stuff.
