Unhinged California Democrat Maxine Waters has been gunning for Trump since he stepped foot in office. But her latest accusations are some of the worst she's ever made.
Waters came unglued recently and claimed Trump "is slow walking America to dictatorship." She went on to provide examples that she thinks justify her outrageous claim.
“People beware!” the congresswoman tweeted. “Trump is slow walking America to dictatorship. Press attacks, owns AG [William] Barr, controlling our courts including Supreme Court, firing inspector generals, complimenting [Russian President Vladimir] Putin & [North Korean dictator] Kim Jong Un, now trying to defund US Postal Service, & opposing vote by mail!”
Waters’ reference in her tweet to Trump “controlling our courts” is possibly a reference to the president’s success in nominating and having confirmed multiple conservative judges for both the Supreme Court and U.S. circuit courts.
Waters has a history of vile attacks against both President Trump and his supporters.
She once called President Trump "the most despicable human being that could ever walk the earth."
Although she admitted she has no evidence to back it up, Waters has constantly referred to Trump as "Putin's puppet."
Perhaps most notoriously, back in 2018 she incited violence against members of the Trump administration by encouraging her supporters to physically confront them.
If you think we’re rallying now, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. Already, you have members of your Cabinet that are being booed out of restaurants who have protesters taking up at their house, who say, ‘No peace, no sleep. No peace, no sleep.’
God is on OUR side! On the side of the children. On the side of what’s right. On the side of what’s honorable. And so, let’s stay the course.
Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up and if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.
The woman truly is something else.
