In a matter of seconds Trump shunned Pelosi and ruined her big St. Patrick's Day luncheon.
On Sunday the White House announced in epic fashion that Trump would not be attending the luncheon hosted by Speaker Pelosi.
“Since the Speaker has chosen to tear this Nation apart with her actions and her rhetoric, the President will not participate in moments where she so often chooses to drive discord and disunity, and will instead celebrate the rich history and strong ties between the United States and Ireland at the White House on March 12,” the WH spokesman said. “The relationship between our two countries has never been stronger, and the President looks forward to welcoming the Prime Minister of Ireland for the annual Shamrock Bowl presentation.”

President Trump will skip the St. Patrick’s Day lunch on Capitol Hill this Thursday because House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s efforts to “drive discord and disunity” have ruined his appetite to attend the annual bipartisan event, the White House said Sunday.
Pelosi, as speaker, hosts Democratic and Republican lawmakers at the luncheon to celebrate relations between the US and Ireland. She invited Trump last month.
“Since the Speaker has chosen to tear this Nation apart with her actions and her rhetoric, the President will not participate in moments where she so often chooses to drive discord and disunity,” White House deputy press secretary Judd Deere said in a statement.
Serves her right after everything she's done to Trump these past few months.
Pelosi's spokesman hit back at Trump and said he should put “petty, partisan politics aside for this historic occasion.”
Since the luncheon began in 1987, there have only been 4 occasions when presidents didn't attend, instead choosing to send their vice presidents.
But Pence will also not be attending this year.
Sorry Pelosi, not sorry.
