It just keeps getting “better and better,” doesn’t it? Joe Biden spends his entire pandering campaign doing regular PSAs for future illegal aliens, all but telling them he’ll personally be there to warmly welcome them at the border, freebies in hand, and a mariachi band behind him just for celebratory purposes. And so they come. And come. And come.
Then reports surface that — in what can only be described as “Biden wisdom'” (yes, it’s oxymoronic) — the administration is considering cash payments to Central America as an incentive in an attempt to stem the “non-crisis” Biden Border Crisis.
What could possibly go wrong?
As reported by The New York Times on Saturday, the Biden administration is all but begging federal employees from various agencies to take four months of paid leave to provide care to thousands of Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) arriving at the United States-Mexico border on a daily basis.
If this whole thing is not madness, perhaps I misunderstand the definition of madness.
Via The Times [emphasis mine]:
The desperate plea landed this week in the email inboxes of employees in government agencies like the Department of Homeland Security and NASA: Will you consider taking a four-month paid leave from your job to help care for migrant children in government-run shelters packed with new arrivals at the border? […] A briefing memo sent to administration officials this week directed the health department to “identify and deploy all available federal volunteers to support” the effort to address the increase of minors, a drive reflected by the email seeking government workers to help. As of Friday, 2,722 employees across the government have volunteered, in most cases with their salaries being picked up by the health department. Some are caring for children at shelters. Others are helping with case management, I.T. services, food delivery, transportation and other logistics.
As reported by Breitbart, in March alone, federal immigration officials “apprehended” — I use that term loosely in reference to the Biden administration — nearly 170,000 illegal “migrants” including more than 18,600 UACs, nearly 53,000 family units, and nearly 97,000 single adults. The surge in illegal immigration under Biden marks a 72 percent increase in a single month and 243 percent increased compared to March 2020.
We could go on. The embarrassing border surges last month of illegal aliens wearing Biden campaign T-shirts further emblazoned with “Please Let Us In!”, all but demanding the President of the United States honor his campaign promises to them.
The images of crowded “storage containers” of young children who appear to have been given aluminum foil “blankets” on which to sleep. The silliness of Kamala Harris being “the most qualified person” to lead Biden’s effort to “stem the flow” of “irregular migrants” across the border — nineteen days ago and counting — and she has not appeared before a microphone or television camera, yet. Again, we could go on.
But let’s do this.
Let’s take a stab at the logic in Biden’s mind (I know, right?) and the collective minds of the Democrat Party as a whole. What “logical” reason exists that this ever-growing crisis is so important for them to endure that they are willing to set themselves up for a beatdown in the 2022 midterm elections, and perhaps the 2024 presidential election, as well?
How are they helping improve the lives, safety, and future of American citizens?
Where do their politically expedient priorities lie? I cannot answer the question. But I can speculate. Given my staunch and long-held belief that the Democrat Party supports or opposes everything it supports or opposes based first and foremost on the voting booth, we need only connect the dots. And there are no more than two dots to connect — to the voting booth.
In an earlier related article titled CNN and the Usuals Are After Tucker Carlson (Again) and They’re Flat-Out Wrong (Again), I shared my thoughts on the latest attack from the left on Fox News host Tucker Carlson — this time alleging Tucker is an advocate of so-called “white replacement theory.” Never ends, does it?
