Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is in hot water after it was discovered that she tried sneaking a $140 million project for her district into the new COVID bill.
The corrupt Speaker tried taking advantage of the COVID pandemic by stuffing a $140 million rail project that would only benefit her and her district.

Funding for a rail project near House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s California district that Republicans denounced as wasteful was removed Tuesday from President Biden’s $1.9 trillion COVID-19 stimulus bill.
The Senate parliamentarian ruled the $140 million appropriation wasn’t allowed under the so-called Byrd rule that polices unrelated items in budget reconciliation bills.
Republicans singled out the rail project as an example of unrelated “pork” in the bill, which is being rammed through Congress without Republican support using special rules that allow a simple majority vote in the Senate.
On Tuesday, Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) ridiculed the project as Pelosi’s “tunnel of love” ahead of an anticipated vote on the package later this week.
Aides to Pelosi, who represents San Francisco, had defended the project, saying that ridership for mass-transit plummeted during the pandemic, making it reasonable to increase government spending.
Speaker Pelosi quickly got called out on Twitter by Republicans including GOP leader Kevin McCarthy.
“Today, House Republicans are introducing a motion to shift the $140 million allocated to Nancy Pelosi’s subway to grants that would be used for mental services for children. Democrats will have to go on the record—which one will they support?” McCarthy tweeted.
Senate Republicans also joined in: “$1.5 million to build Chuck Schumer a bridge. $112 million to build Nancy Pelosi a subway. $200 million for museums and libraries… and that’s just the start! Democrats are on cloud $1.9 (trillion).”
“Democrat prioritizes ⟶ They chose to put Speaker Pelosi’s $140M Silicon Valley subway over the mental health needs of students across our nation,” the House Republicans’ Twitter account posted.
Democrats seem to be in hot water everywhere you look. On Monday, New York State Attorney General Letitia James announced that Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo was under investigation for sexual abuse claims that were made against him.
James explained that she had received the letter necessary to launch an investigation against the New York Governor.

New York Attorney General Letitia James announced Monday that she has received the letter she needs to launch an independent investigation into claims of sexual harassment against Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
The letter was sent to James’ office by Beth Garvey, special counsel and senior adviser to Cuomo on Monday, and asks James to select an independent law firm to conduct an inquiry into “allegations of and circumstances surrounding sexual harassment claims made against the Governor.”
The letter also directs all New York state employees to cooperate fully with the review and notes that Cuomo will forgo weekly updates on the investigation, to which he would otherwise be entitled.
In a statement, James said this is “not a responsibility we take lightly as allegations of sexual harassment should always be taken seriously.” She said the “findings will be disclosed in a public report.”
The claims against Cuomo that will be investigated include one that emerged Saturday evening in an article in The New York Times. Charlotte Bennett, a 25-year-old former executive assistant and health policy adviser to Cuomo, told the newspaper that during one of several uncomfortable encounters, Cuomo asked her questions about her sex life during a conversation in his state Capitol office and said he was open to relationships with women in their 20s.
