Now that the National Football League has gone all-in on turning the sport over to those who despise the country that made them wealthy beyond their wildest dreams, the 2020 season is on the brink of an unmitigated disaster.
Commissioner Roger Goodell unconditionally surrendered his league to the same "woke" movement that nearly destroyed it three years ago with his groveling apology to the national anthem kneelers, the allowing of political statement decals on helmets and agreeing to play the "black national anthem" before games.
Millions of fans who had just come back after Goodell's handling of the 2017 sideline antics of those who trash the flag, spit on the troops and hate the cops are already as mad as hell, and this time they aren't going to take it anymore.
One fan who is seriously pissed off and disgusted with the NFL's anti-American direction is Hall Of Fame tight end, Super Bowl-winning coach, and hard-assed tough guy Mike Ditka.
In a video that has already gone viral and put a big target on his back from the cancel culture mob, Iron Mike blasted the kneelers by saying that “If you can’t respect our national anthem, get the hell out of the country."
Ditka's directive to the cult of Colin Kaepernick was made during a wide-ranging interview with TMZ Sports.
Said Ditka:
“If you can’t respect our national anthem, get the hell out of the country. That’s the way I feel. Of course, I’m old fashioned. So, I’m only going to say what I feel. I think there’s a way you protest and there’s a way you don’t protest. “You don’t protest against the flag, you don’t against this country [that] has given you the opportunity to make a living playing a sport that you never thought would happen,” he continued. “So, I don’t wanna hear all the crap,”
Iron Mike just nailed it. The entire social justice scam has far exceeded the protesting of the shootings of George Floyd and other blacks by police and now includes demands for preferential treatment, financial reparations, the defunding of the police and systemic racism enforced by silencing and punishing white people who are being bullied into apologizing for their skin color.
And yet, Goodell and the NFL are condoning the Marxist-inspired, openly racist Black Lives Matter movement as are most other major American corporations.
Even at 80-years-old, the tough as nails Ditka would probably beat the snot out of a sizable portion of the entitled whiners who will be on their knees during the playing of the Star-Spangled Banner this season and unlike today's pathetic class of athletes and coaches, Ditka doesn't put up with any crap.
Ditka whose crowning achievement was winning Super Bowl XX with the bone-crushing 1986 Chicago Bears defense and one of the NFL's all-time greatest cast of characters is consistent - he also unloaded on Kaepernick back in 2016.
Ditka will surely be hammered by the Twitter hate mobe as a racist for his remarks but he is absolutely right. There is no other country on earth where ingrates like Kaepernick and his ilk could make millions of dollars for playing a game, never having to worry about working for a living and then having the audacity to bitch about it.
There are tens of millions of soon to be former NFL fans who agree with Iron Mike.
