Oregon County Orders Whites to Wear Masks, but Exempts Blacks

Face mask for me, but not for thee. That's the mantra of Lincoln County, Oregon, which has ordered all white people to wear masks, but says black people can be exempt.

The order says all white people in the county—which is 90% white— must have face masks on in public to prevent spreading the coronavirus.

But... "people of color" don't have to wear masks if they don't want to because of "heightened concerns about racial profiling and harassment due to wearing face coverings in public.”

In case you didn't know, "people of color” is just a blanket euphemism for black people.  Face masks are a sensitive subject for the black community, at least that's what the ACLU’s ReNika Moore recently said.

“For many black people, deciding whether or not to wear a bandanna in public to protect themselves and others from contracting coronavirus is a lose-lose situation that can result in life-threatening consequences either way,” Moore said.

Others from the black community claim that making them wear masks is essentially telling them to look dangerous to a society that is apparently so "racist" as a whole.

That all said, there have yet to be any cases we've seen where an innocent black man was wrongfully arrested or attacked simply because he had a coronavirus mask on.

On the contrary, we have seen plenty of white people publicly berated and bullied for not wearing masks.

And you may recall what unfolded when a black security guard told a black family that if they wanted to shop at Family Dollar they had to wear a mask. They shot the security guard to death.

If you ask me, forcing white people to wear masks and not "people of color" is the real racist act. What do you think?
